International Friendlies Match - ODSC U18 Men's Team vs. Gambia U18 Men's Team
Late Breaking News..... ODSC has been given a very unique opportunity for their teams. A combined ODSC U18 Men’s team will challenge a U-18 Men’s team from Gambia (Gambia FC) this Thursday Nov 19th. Kickoff time is 5:30 p.m. at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex under the lights on Field 2. This is a unique opportunity for some of our ODSC players to go head-to-head against a very skilled international team.

ODSC U12 Girls Wave WINS Kroger Cup Tournament
Congratulations to the U12 ODSC Wave on their championship run at the 2009 Kroger Cup held in Roanoke, VA from October 9-11. The Wave washed over their competition with convincing wins against teams from Central Virginia United (Lynchburg, VA), New River Valley Soccer Association (Christiansburg, VA), and Augusta Futbol Club (Fisherville, VA), winning their bracket.
They went on to face the Christiansburg Ladycats (New Valley River) in the finals and won 3-0. Overall, a great weekend for the Wave who scored 17 goals on their opponents and had 0 goals scored against

ODSC U14G SPARX are Finalists in Kroger Cup
Congratulations to the ODSC U14 Girls Sparx on their success in the 2009 Kroger Cup which was held October 9th-11th in Roanoke, Virginia.
The Sparx won their bracket and advanced to the championship match playing against a very physical team. The Sparx played extremely hard (especially in the second half) but unfortunately lost 1-0.
The Sparx would like to thank Coach Alex and Coach Tim for all that they have done and continue to do to help the team improve. They would also like to thank the parents for their continuing support.
Even though the Sparx lost in the championship they all had a great time and should be proud of how well they played.
U16 Boys bring on the HEAT as Finalists in the Beach FC Columbus Day Tournament
The U16B HEAT played in their first Beach FC tournament on Columbus Day weekend. Saturday started off under cloudy skies with a hard fought game tied 0-0 at the half against Chesterfield United. HEAT fought back to win 2-0.
Rain set in before the second game and a tired and wet team set out to play Loudoun Soccer losing 0-4, putting HEAT in second place in Bracket #2. This meant that the HEAT would advance to the semi-finals on Sunday against

ODSC Teams Bring Home Gold & Silver in Columbus Day & Kroger Cup Tournaments
ODSC was well represented in tournaments over the Columbus Day weekend. Teams traveled to Roanoke, VA to participate in the Kroger Cup, while other teams stayed here at the beach to participate in the Beach FC Columbus Day Tournament.
The U12 Boys Pumas and U14 Girls Sparx brought home silver as Finalists in the Kroger Cup, with the U12 Girls Wave bringing home the gold as Champions. The U11 Boys Blaze, U15 Boys Big Dogs and U16 Boys HEAT all brought home silver as Finalists in the Beach FC Columbus Day Tournament.

ODSC Sagres Take 2nd in Williamsburg Cup Labor Day Weekend.
There was no rest over the Labor Day weekend for the ODSC U14 Boys Sagres. The Sagres made a trip to Williamsburg, VA and took 2nd place at the Williamsburg Cup Sept. 5th & 6th. After 2 wins and 1 tie (scoring a total of 11 goals), the Sagres allowed only one goal in the final game against a Columbia, MD team. Way to go Sagres!
28 ODSC Players Selected for ODP
What is ODP? The Olympic Development Program is a US Youth Soccer Program to identify players of the highest caliber which will lead to increased success for the US National Teams. During recent tryouts Player Pools for the 97, 96, 95, 94, and 93 birth years were selected.

ODSC U15 Girls CRUNCH the Competition in Danville Tournament
ODSC’s U15G Crunch traveled to Danville, VA for their pre-season tournament. They were placed in the older U16/U17 age bracket but the girls were ready to give it their all.
The Crunch went into Saturday’s tournament games playing against a U16 team but came out victorious with an 8 – 0 win. Their second game of the day saw the Crunch pitted against

ODSC Panthers U-14 Girls Finalists in Danville Sizzler Tournament
Three ODSC teams went to the inaugural Danville Sizzler tournament on the weekend of 29-30 Aug; the U-15G Crunch and the U-12G Wave won the championship in their divisions while the Panthers won 2nd place in the U-14G division.
Most of the teams participating were from western and south-central Virginia, and the Virginia Beach teams were warmly received. The Panthers won their first game against the sponsoring club’s home team (the Danville Blast), then tied the second against a VAFC Arsenal team. On Sunday the Panthers
