This newly designed program is for U9-U10 players and focuses heavily on developing the fundamental technical skills they will need to be successful competitive soccer players at older age groups.
Players accepted into the ODSC Youth Academy will participate in eight specially designed weekly technical sessions administered by professional coaches in a fun environment. The program is directly supervised by the club’s Director of Coaching, Cesar Rizzo, and utilizes proven soccer training methods developed from his Brazilian roots.
ODSC is a strong proponent of developing our players from within the club and the Youth Academy sets the foundation for this philosophy. Since the Youth Academy’s primary concentration is on player development vice competition, players will not compete in regular season matches. Friendly matches may be scheduled throughout the season strictly for developmental purposes.
Through their hard work and dedication during the 2011 fall and spring seasons, graduates of the ODSC Youth Academy can expect to be placed onto a competitive level ODSC travel team for the Fall 2012 season.
