ODSC’s U15G Crunch traveled to Danville, VA for their pre-season tournament.  They were placed in the older U16/U17 age bracket but the girls were ready to give it their all.   The Crunch went into Saturday’s tournament games playing against a U16 team but came out victorious with an 8 – 0 win.  Their second game of the day saw the Crunch pitted against a U17 team but the ODSC girls prevailed again and won the game 3 – 0.

Sunday found the Crunch up against the same U16 team from Saturday in order to advance to the finals.   Crunch had heard prior to Sunday’s game that the U16 team had never lost a game, so they knew it was going to be good game for everyone.  Crunch won 2 - 1 and found themselves going up against the team once more for the tournament final.

The Crunch played hard in the finals and came out victorious 2 -1 to take home the Championship trophies.   Way to go Crunch Girls!!
